Biog
The WIZE-GUYS present a format of supercool jazz and swing spiced with some late 20th century kitsch classics (think Austin Powers) and a few surprises thrown in.
This outfit is designed to flexible in its presentation from duo to a fully charted 12 piece big band with dancers and girl singers etc.
We are sensitive to the requirements of listed buildings, noise limitations, short set up times, and arrive fully self contained with PA & lights all PAT tested to British Standard
The WIZE-GUYS are the brainchild of Roger Bird a professional singer/ band leader for 15 years and founder member of the uk’s Mood Indigo. Roger has appeared as resident artiste at Ronnie Scott’s(Birmingham), Jools Hollands’ Jam House (Birmingham), Life Café (Manchester), Café Metz (Nottingham), Tri Becca (Manchester) and Bluu Lounge (London-Nottingham-Liverpool)
